A person provisionally arrested under the conditions provided for in
Article 696-23shall be released if, within a period of thirty days from the date of his arrest, where this was carried out at the request of the competent authorities of the requesting State, the French Government does not receive one of the documents mentioned in
Article 696-8.
If the aforementioned documents subsequently reach the French Government, the procedure shall be resumed, in accordance with
articles 696-9 et seq.
