In order to benefit from the credit for hours provided for in article L. 7227-2, the councillor to the assembly or the executive councillor shall inform his employer in writing at least three days before his absence, specifying the date and duration of the planned absence as well as the duration of the hours credit to which he is still entitled in respect of the current quarter.
